Photography on Film - night photograph in Brazil - foto em Barra Bonita 1993 - masterpiece of a nonsense adolescent - um sem noção de 17 anos à margem do Rio Tietê - "o grande mentecapto" era um livro inspirador?

Photography on Film - 1993 Brazil - 3 minutes under light pole

From the Olympic Games of Tokyo in 1964, my japanese grandfather brought the state of art on photography then: a Pentax camera. I don’t know how, in 1993, when I was 17 years old this film camera fell on to my hands and i started to take pictures with it making some nice experiences.
One of these experiences occurred on an expedition of the band of my school to the city of Barra Bonita:
At night i saw a bench illuminated by a light pole; behind the bench everything was dark, so only objects standing by the bench would burn the film, and the darkness behind it would not burn the film; this camera could have it’s diafragma opened for any period of time, and also the diafragma could have it’s opening width reguleted.
I put the camera on it’s stand aiming the bench, shut down the automatic click and pressed it’s button; then i sat on my wright side of the bench for 1 minute, after that i sat on the middle of the bench for other 1 minute, and finally i sat on my left side of the bench for the last 1 minute looking wrigtwards for 30 seconds and leftwards for 30 seconds. Work done: i pressed the click button to close the diafragma and stop burning the film.
The result was my 17 year old nonsense masterpiece that you fellows can see on this post.
